There’s nothing quite like a trendy, red pout or a dazzling fresh manicure to boost a woman’s confidence, but at butter LONDON we know beauty is more than skin deep. Our mission goes beyond developing rebellious colours and luxurious finishes for our unique nail lacquers and cosmetics, as we strive daily to create inclusive beauty products that feel good, do good and do MORE. In the spirit of going above and beyond, we’re partnering with a wonderful organization in our hometown of Seattle, WA to support the local community, as well as the young girls who with become the future women of our world!
So, what is Girls on the Run?
Girls on the Run works to inspire young girls so that they can recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of kind! Studies show that the confidence of adolescence girls drop twice as much as young boys, and they often face conflicting messages about how they should act or who they should be. Girls on Run teaches confidence, character, care and competence, so that young women are equipped with the tools to build self-worth while carrying this powerful influence into their communities. Over the course of a research based, ten-week program, they learn how to navigate their worlds, recognize their personal strengths, and stand up for themselves, as well as other children of the future!
