New Year’s Glam

It is that time of year where we can shamelessly show off our favourite glam look! New Years Eve is here and it is time to put our holiday gifts to good use to create a bold, sparkly look to take on the town in.

We are dreaming of bold lips and sparkling eyes! It is time to take on the new decade with confidence in this eye catching look.

Step 1 Primer: Start with one swipe of our Sheer Wisdom Serum Shadow in Sepia for a hint of color and a perfect primer for your eyeshadow base. Apply 3 dots to each eyelid, then blend with your finger as the eyeshadow serum gives you a lightweight, silky finish.

Step 2 Eye Gloss: Use your finger to apply Glazen™ Eye Gloss in Spark, sparkling champagne, or Glazen™ Eye Gloss in Bronzed, a rich bronze, all over the base of your eyelid. Remember, a little goes a loooong way with this gloss so start with a little and be sure to blend it out. Add multiple layers on your lid for a more intense metallic shine, and your eyes will sparkle through the night.

Step 3 Face: The LumiMatte Collection will give your skin the perfect glow all throughout the night. Start by smoothing the Skin Tint over your skin, then follow it by dusting a layer of the Finishing Powder all over to give your skin a luminous look.

Step 4 Highlight: Apply a bit of the Glazen Highlighting gel to the inner corners of your eye, underneath the brow bone, and to your cupids bow for a radiant glow.

Step 5 Liner and Mascara: Put our favourite stocking stuffer, the Power Play kit, to good use and finish off your eye look. Make your eyes pop with the perfect winged eyeliner with the Power Up Liquid liner and give yourself longer looking, voluminous lashes with our best selling Power Up mascara.

Step 6 Lips: Finish off the look with our other favourite holiday kit, Satin Dreams! Apply either shade of the Satin Matte Lipstick, Strong or Ignited, for a bold lip to rock into the New Year.

How to Nail Your Holiday Look This Year

With the holidays right around the corner, it is the perfect time to try out a new nail art design with some of our 2019 holiday nail kits. These duos are the perfect touch you need to stand out at all of your holiday parties and activities. We have broken each look down into step by step instructions so you can create a beautiful holiday look with your favourite butter LONDON kit. nail

Pretty Posh

This glittery magenta and berry creme nail lacquer pair together for a fabulous, eye catching mani. First, apply 2 coats of Queen Vic to each nail and let it dry completely. Then, using a small paint brush and Lovely Jubbly alternate your look on each nail with diagonal lines or different size stripes. For a block nail, use tape to create a straight line vertically or horizontally and paint half of the nail with Lovely Jubbly.

Royal Bash

Get the party started with this festive nail duo! Start by applying two coats Regal Red, a beautiful red creme, and let it dry completely. Then choose your accent nail and cover it with two coats of 24k, our sparkly, gold and glittery top coat. To start the ombre, apply one coat of 24k starting at the base of your nail and pull it up to cover a little over half of the nail. Then apply a thicker layer to the bottom half, and a third layer to the very bottom to finish the look.

Twinkling Twosome

Shine bright in the night with this charming duo to create the perfect polka dot look. Start by applying 2 coats of Red Diamond, a beautiful shimmery red wine. For the larger polka dots, use a dotting tool or cotton swab to apply South Bank to the nail while it is still slightly wet. For smaller polka dots, use a smaller dotting tool to create the look after the base coats have dried.

Once you have completed your nail art looks, wait a couple minutes for them to dry completely, go over them with butter LONDON Hardwear Shine UV Topcoat for the perfect shine.
