Ready for what’s buzzing around bL HQ this month? Here we go…
Those looking for Tom Haverford, beware. This is not Aziz as we know him. Master of None is an oddly funny look at life in your 30’s. Not laugh-out-loud funny, like we’re used to, but suprisingly funny (as in an unexpected poop joke). We binged it hard, and we’re ready for season 2.
Normally, we wouldn’t do a news story in The Buzz, however this is heartwarming. Russia’s president sent an adorable German Shepherd puppy to France as a good will gesture, after one of their police dogs was killed in the brutal attack on Paris. In a time where, once again, people are feeling at odds with each other, it’s great to see two countries coming together, even with a small gesture. We hope others follow suit.
bL book club is back! This month, we’re reading The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. We went for a lighthearted book after last month’s heavier read, and we’re glad we did! The main character is certainly unexpected, but a charming leading man nonetheless. Read along with us and let us know what you think in the comments!
Is this a spoiler? Is it not a spoiler? Click at your own risk but we’re hoping this is a sign of good things to come.
We love this band for multiple reasons. 1. Their indie pop vibe is perfect for dancing. 2. They’re a homegrown Seattle band!! We love music from our own backyard! 3. Andrew is our Retail Account Manager Margit’s hubby!
