We head across the pond with Global Colour Ambassador, Katie Jane Hughes, as she works her magic at London Fashion Week.
It has been a rare, blissfully quiet week in fashion. I came back to England, spent some quality time with my fam, and casually headed south to London.
Arrived in London and headed to our friends’ house where we stay whilst in the city. It’s in my fave neighborhood, Kensington.
Went to The Shard (the tallest building in Europe!) and took some touristy pics and painted the window in Old Blighty Moisture Matte LIPPY. After that, we walked around the the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben before heading home for a good night’s Kip.
Woke up and went to High Street for a walk around and to buy some bits for my kit. Stropped for lunch at a little French place and tried to eat healthy, until the bread and butter came out.
At 3:45 went to the Alice Temperly test. I love this building-it looks like a Union Jack flag and it’s totally brill. Once I’d unpacked, I had a chat with Alice and the stylist, Katie. We spoke about a nail look that felt elegant with a fun feel. It’s a beauty-super chic. (HINT-one minute you see it, one minute you don’t.)
Left the test at 6:00 and headed home to drop off my kit. I ate a few cheeky M & M’s and left to meet my good friend Maggie for dinner. We went to a new place in Kensington called Dirty Bones. It’s a hot dog place. It was Pancake Day in England yesterday, and I didn’t get to eat one, so we went to a pancake place for dessert. It was crepe-style, my fave, with lemon & sugar, and Nutella & ice cream on the side.
Travelling is tiring, and I’m often in bed my 9:00 or 10:00. It’s 9;45-G’nite! xx
